Song of the Day: “Drumroll (We’re All Thirsty)” by P.O.S.
P.O.S. has straddled the line, however much of a line there is, between hip-hop and punk for years. Whether through combining his two loves into his hip-hop tracks or through the punk band he fronts.
He straddles this line in his latest album, "Never Better," well, never better.
While "Drumroll (We’re All Thirsty)," isn’t the best song on the album, it is the greatest example of this. The rest of the album tends to lean more in the hip-hop camp and is littered with references to "The Big Lebowski," comics, politics, Fugazi and more.
Still, for those looking for something a little different and innovative out of your hip-hop, you’ll love this track. If you want something a little more traditional, check out the next track, "Savion Glover."
