Get out there and do something

May 25, 2011 - Erin O'Neill
When I was putting this issue together, I was absolutely amazed at the number of fairs, festivals and other stuff going on around the state. Sure West Virginia sometimes gets a bad rap, but those who live here know the truth...we frickin' rock!

And I mean that literally.

I had the pleasure to include Fletcher's Grove in this issue. The band is going to be one of only two homegrown bands at All Good this year and that's no small potaters! Check out the band before they hit the All Good stage at the V Club on June 4 and the Boulevard Tavern June 9.

I'm personally looking forward to the Multicultural fest in Parkersburg this year. Somehow in years past I have always had conflicts. This year I'm hoping to make a day of it.

There is just so much awesome crap to do, it was hard to list everything and I probably didn't. Apologies if I missed your event in June's issue but feel free to submit items for the calendar right here on this ol' website.

Now get out there and party your asses off this summer and be sure to check out our July issue, which will feature some of the wackiest, coolest, craziest travel destinations in the Mountain State.

Ciao!
