What’s on your iPod, Chelsea Hughes?

“Wagon Wheel”

Old Crow Medicine Show

It’s a good song. I love knowing where I came from and this song never lets me forget my backwoods “country-ness” or the people who made me who I am – no matter how far from home I get.

“Sun Goes Down”

David Jordan

This song is amazing! It’s got everything you need to pump yourself up for going out. He’s a cross between Lenny Kravitz and Prince … plus he’s hot!

“Bubble toes”

Jack Johnson

It’s my favorite Jack song because it’s talking about being carefree. It puts me in a good mood. It sends the message that it’s OK to just do whatever. “Move like a jellyfish, rhythm is nothing, you go with the flow, ya don’t stop.”

“Best days”

The Matt White Band

I’m a sucker for an acoustic guitar. And what can I say; it’s just a sweet song about a guy remembering the first stages of love. Which … who doesn’t want THAT to last forever?

“Butterfly”

Jason Mraz

This song is different because yes, it’s flattering, but it’s bizarre with these crazy big band trumpets paired with amazingly smooth lyrics and scat. It’s a (modernized) jazz lover’s dream.
