Louisville, KY – Americana twang band Nick Dittmeier & the Sawdusters return to West Virginia to play the Empty Glass on Friday, Sept. 2 in Charleston as a stop on their extended fall tour.
After releasing their debut full-length record “Midwest Heart/Southern Blues” in January, they have spent most of the year on the road touring in support of it. It has garnered praise from such outlets as “American Songwriter,” “Saving Country Music,” and “W.B. Walker’s Old Soul Radio Hour”. The new record has drawn comparisons to the Old 97’s, the Band and the Turnpike Troubadours.
The four-piece band will be accompanied on the bill by West Virginia band the Horse Traders. Doors are at 9 pm, with a $7 cover, 21+
