The New Relics have taken what has probably been the longest vacation in seven years–a whole week and a half without playing music in front of (hopefully) adoring fans. I know … wow, right?

However, that doesn’t mean we haven’t been working hard to bring you our special brand of alt-country melodic-happiness. We’ve spent a few long days laying down tracks in the studio for what I hope will be a redefining album for TNR. We locked ourselves inside Blues Alley Studios in Morgantown for a weekend, and came out with 11 tracks that–in my own humble opinion–rock pretty damn hard. We’re still in the writing process, but so far the album looks like a mixture of brand new tunes and revved-up versions of TNR classics.

The good news is that we’ll be debuting several new songs in our upcoming live shows, so come out and see us–we’ll no doubt be in your area real soon!
