MORGANTOWN - 18 Strings announces the Oct. 13 release date of their album "Single Wide" via Mon Hills Records. "Single Wide" is the band's first album for Mon Hills Records, and it is the follow up to their self-titled 2016 release. 18 Strings and Mon Hills will drop the album Friday the 13th at the Morgantown Brewing Company; at which time it will be available for physical and digital sale.

18 Strings is an acoustic string trio based out of Morgantown. The three members come from different musical backgrounds spanning everything from jazz to folk, and rock to classical. The result is a seamless fusion of styles that incorporates smart songwriting, tight harmonies, refined instrumental technique, and an airtight groove. They released their eponymous debut album in mid-2016. Appalachia is a culturally rich region that 18 Strings is proud to call home. Their aesthetic draws from the people of the mountains and their stories. The organic sound of voices, a guitar, mandolin, and upright bass matches the miles and miles of rolling hills that hide centuries of musical tradition.

- Andy Tuck is a long-standing member of the WV music scene. Known for tasteful songwriting and his powerful voice, he has played with the rock band The Greens since 2002. He has toured nationally and released multiple studio albums with both The Greens and as a solo artist.
