• Adam Lambert's sexually-charged AMA performance drew 1,500 complaints, according to this AP report.

ABC said more than 1,500 people complained, what it termed a "moderate" response, and the Parents Television Council also said it had heard from upset members.

"They're outraged," said Timothy Winters, president of the Parents Television Council. "They just can't believe the nature of the content, the explicit nature, and how much graphic content there was."

• The AP is also reporting that the Jon and Kate Gosselin divorce could come by the end of the year.

Jon Gosselin offered his estranged wife a bouquet of red roses at their divorce arbitration hearing over the weekend. She evidently turned them down. Despite the snub, the marathon session went so well that the feuding stars of "Jon & Kate Plus 8" could be divorced by the end of the year, his attorney said Monday.

According to Mark Heller, "Jon impressively put the best interests of his children above all and was extremely appropriate in his approach to the mediation. As a result of that, it came to a successful resolution."

• What in the world? These dolls don't look anything like the real Don Draper. But if you want to look and behave like the chain-smoking, hard-drinking womanizer, then head on over to howdonareyou.com and take up some of the tips.

• Spoon has bumped up their release date, though unfortunately not anywhere close to now. Still, come Jan. 19, Transference will surely be in our hands.

• This is great: "An expert commission of African leaders today announced their plan for comprehensive reform of the rock band U2."

• A handcuffed, suspected bank robber ate an alleged stick-up note in this video over at Boing Boing.

• In Melbourne yesterday, a kangaroo attacked a man while he walked his dog, cutting the owner's abdomen with its hind legs and pinning the dog underwater. The man ended the attack by jabbing the kangaroo in the throat with his elbow.
