• So, uh, Ben and Jerry's has a gay ice cream now called Hubby Hubby. Yea, we don't know either.

• How bad for the environment are cruise ships? The Green Lantern (not the comic book character) has this to say:

"Like any other oceangoing vessel, a cruise ship can affect both the water and the air with its waste products. First, there's the issue of bilge water, which collects in the lowest part of the ship and often contains oil from leaky engines as well as other contaminants. In general, a ship will treat bilge water before discharging it, but there have been cases of irresponsible ocean dumping in the past. Then there are the air pollutants that fly out from the ship's smokestacks—these include particulate matter, sulfur dioxide, and nitrogen oxides. (The latter two are the principal components of acid rain.)"

The best solution? Look for a "green" cruise, or try to fly to your destination and be a tourist the old fashioned way.

• Boy, you guys, we'd sure like to believe this economy is turning around, but after reading this article on the people who are actually rooting for the economy to fail again, we're a little more pessimistic.

• Obama is considering a major speech on health care. Right, because that's just what we need right now: more talk.

• As a primer for David Cross' upcoming trip to Morgantown for a stand-up show, check out his interview with the AV Club, wherein he defends starring in "Alvin and the Chipmunks," and how his new book, "I Drink for a Reason," came to be.

• So apparently someone's making a Smurfs CGI movie.

• MTV is test piloting a Teen Wolf series. Seriously.

"Continuing the grand tradition of remaking anything that anybody might recognize from any point in history, MTV is branching out into the horror market with a pilot order for a new series based on that other 1985 Michael J. Fox hit film, Teen Wolf. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jeff Davis, creator of the CBS series Criminal Minds, will write the pilot as well as executive produce."

• MTV is also streaming Jay-Z's upcoming album, "The Blueprint 3."
