A Party For A Series I've Never ReadThis Friday, from 9:30 to midnight, our local Borders (and probably a bookstore near you) is throwing a release party for the new Stephanie Meyer's Twilight series book. National chains throwing release parties. A movie coming out any day now. Covers of Entertainment Weekly. And judging from Flair on Facebook, more fans than you can shake a stick at.And I've never read this series. In fact, before a friend of mine kept showing me the Flair and before I read Meyer's other book, "The Host," I hadn't heard of the series. Maybe this isn't a shock, I'm not a teenager, nor do I have one at home, but young adult books aren't just for teenagers anymore. And I read plenty of YA books for work and back before this blog and column started, whenever I found something that looked interesting at the library. So how did I miss this? And what else am I missing out on? So here's your chance. Give me a book recommendation! Tell me something I should be reading and why.
